Came here visiting from arizona, in a really unfamiliar part of this state, and the owner made me feel so welcomed. She had a last minute available slot so I was able to get in the same day for an appt. Her space is clean, and her collection of nail polish has been my favorite so far! I started going to Wanda when I lived in Vista and it was convenient. She had just opened her shop and that must be 30+ years ago. Then moved to Carlsbad and continued because she is a protectionist. Now I commute from Alpine and it’s worth the hour + drive. Since I’m very hard on my nails doing yard work, she’s the only one who tries continually to keep my nail and toes looking good. Reasonable too.
